Hydra is a full size bust of an Irish Staffishire. The client was able to supply a number of photos and requested that the sculpture should feature her chain and name tag which she always wore.
In the final piece, Roman has portrayed Hydra with her button ears and head slightly cocked to one side suggesting a slightly quizzical look.
The client chose a bronzed finish as this best simulated Hydra’s natural colouring.
